Are you ready to take a brand new approach?

At Minx, branding isn’t about designing a logo, it’s about creating an icon. Is an icon created or does it develop over time and in relation to the brand? Is the logo or brand only iconic to it’s customers?

Fundamentally we believe iconic logos aren’t created, they develop out of a strong brand strategy, cohesive marketing plan and structured business proposition. But, more significantly iconic brands aren’t directly related to the size of the budget – you don’t need to spend the reported £500,000 BP spent to change straight lines to squiggly lines or spend £400,000 putting a 20 on top of a 12 to make a great brand.

minx design has been involved in many conversations with clients and despite our best efforts there are many that still believe the more you pay, the better the logo. This sadly just isn’t the case. Here, at minx design we look at the logo in relation to how it’s going to be used, perceived, implemented, it’s longevity, accessibility and how much you’ve got to spend.
